Saturday night featured a game Ohio State players, coaches and fans will not soon forget. For the second straight year, the Buckeyes rallied from a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat Penn State 27-26. This season, the Scarlet and Gray did so on the road in front of a record 110,889 Nittany Lion fans in “White Out” conditions.

While Ohio State struggled early and it looked like the Buckeyes would fall for the first time in 2018, the defense stayed strong and held Penn State to field goals despite good field position early and got stops when the team needed in the second half. The offense struggled to find a rhythm early on but made adjustments at halftime and quarterback Dwayne Haskins and his teammates got it going in the second half.

As you can imagine, there was plenty of excitement following the Scarlet and Gray’s big win. Unlike the last trip to Beaver Stadium, a 24-21 loss, the Ohio State coaches and players were excited and willing to discuss what happened on the field after the game. Here is what they had to say:
